Flora was created in 1965 in Canada, but the company's roots stretch back to early 1900's in Germany. It was there that Dr. Otto Greither, the grandfather to Flora's Founder Thomas Greither, laid the foundations for a prominent health food manufacturer.

Flora major products include their cold-pressed, unrefined oil blends and Flor Essence, a powerful detoxifying herbal formula originally from Rene Caisse (Essiac tea).  Flora also produces other herbal tonics and skin care products.

Since 1980s, Flora has expanded their business to America. Currently, their products are exported to many countries in Europe and Asia.

Flora guarantees that their nutritional supplements are all top quality and chemical free. Only top quality seeds and herbs are selected for production and processing.  Stringent quality control is used at each stage of production.  The final products are packed in environmentally friendly, safe and non-reactive packaging materials.
